Speaking about the event, the CEO of Zanzy Entertainment, Chuks Anusionwu, stated that the pageant, which is now in its 5th edition, came to life out of his desire to encourage young ladies to value themselves and to always appreciate themselves as beautiful not just physically, but in character and intellect.

He added that he seeks to elicit the support of members of society to, through his pageant, help groom young ladies and guide them towards playing active roles and contributing to society through pet projects
